On May 9th, 2011, a group of University student led by Kunal Kotak embarked on a four-week volunteer project at Widhya Asih Orphanage 2 in Blimbingsari. They travelled with Canadian charitable organization, Developing World Connections, which sends volunteers to numerous countries around the world to help those in need.
