Widhya Asih Foundation is still operating at 80% reliance on donations. This is still a great concern and slows progress of improvement and destabilizes future security. To address this, we have started to plant trees (which called Albasia, the hybrid type from Canada) in Soka (land which was been given by Church). They need 5 years turn around to harvest.The profit once could cover up to 50% of expenditures; however it will require US$20.000 investment. We have started to plant the trees since October 2009 and so far 4 hectares of the 8 purchased have been planted with 15.000 trees in total. Many people are interested to support the project financially and do voluntary actions as well. Please contact us for further information about the project and budget cost.
